why register change?

hi, another question, why every time when I config config-register to 0x2102 in my both MSFC3, after power off and power on it will become 0x0?

1. before reboot 6513:

Router>show bootvar

BOOT variable = bootflash:c6msfc3-jk9o3sv-mz.122-14.SX2.bin,1

CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist

BOOTLDR variable does not exist

Configuration register is 0x2102

2. after reboot 6513 one or twice

Router>sh bootvar

BOOT variable does not exist

CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist

BOOTLDR variable does not exist

Configuration register is 0x0

Guess, you did not save the configuration after issuing the config-register command. Start the reload after saving the config. Before that, you could go through the following document for more details:
