The is a 1750 router with 2 serial interface, but the traffic flows maximum to one interface only and the other one is rarely used. The is no multi link or any switching or any routing which specifies to use only one interface.

ok,

go on this interface, which you will not use.

And shutdown this interface. use:

"conf t"

int ser xxx

sh = shutdown (the interface goes down now)

leaf this interface with 2 times "exit"

"wr"

then

"sh ip int brief"

......

that`s all

now is one seriell interface down.

Try doing a per-packet load-balancing on the 2 interfaces. enable "ip load-sharing per-packet" on the interfaces and ip cef globally.

The load variations may be due to the fact that the interfaces do per-destination load balancing, which is session based and not packet based.

Cheers !
