I want to be able to plot the number of arp entries on MRTG, in order to do that I need to be able to retrieve the total number of ARP entries in the cache. I can't find a OID to do this, can you suggest a different method for doing this?
Thanks

Good suggestion but I need an OID that will give me a count of the total number of ARP entries, I don't need to know the IP/MAC addresses.

May be private OID exists.I doubdt a standard one does. Why not counting the # of entries in ipNetToMediaTable ? On a unix based management station it could be as simple as:
system:/localhome/root>snmpwalk cisco4k 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.2 | wc -l
