does 6.3(3) support RIP also apart from ospf , if not how come one of the caveats is that RIPv2 mcast updates are sent across an interface that has no rip enabled on it.
PIX 6.3 code supports both RIP (v1 and v2) and OSPF. The caveat is that you cannot configure both RIP and OSPF on the same PIX. You must choose which one you want to use. Hope this helps.
