migrating from OSPF to BGP

Hi,

Currently we are using OSPF as routing protocol in some of our routers. But now we want to migrate from OSPF to BGP. Can someone please send me a good documentation on how do it?

And if possible can also send the documentation on BGP (i.e. how it works and how to configure it) as I have never worked in BGP environment before.

Thanks

You wouldn't want to migrate from OSPF to BGP--OSPF is an interior gateway protocol, BGP is an exterior gateway protocol. You would use the two in combination, OSPF (or EIGRP or IS-IS) for routing between routers that you (or your comapny) owns, and BGP for connecting to networks outside of your company.

Hi Russ,

I want to use BGP to connect to the outside network.

But I have never used BGP so I dont know much about it, how to configure it ..etcc..
