Hi, we have a new server (MCS-7835h-2.4-evv1)that has been running for about 10 days. Yesterday we were going to do some more work, the server monitor was in sleep mode so we hit the CTRL key 3 times, the screen "woke" up and informed us that the server was shutting down. I'd be happy to hear anyones ideas as to what might be happening. Thanks.

Thanks Gordon, we don't think so, they've got everything patched and firewalled, also it's only happened once in almost 3 weeks and they don't appear to have any other issues. Having said that we haven't completely ruled it out as yet.

What MCS OS are you running? What platform?
.. any unusual event log entries?

OS was updated to 2000-2-5sr1 yesterday morning (it was 2000-2-4 previously). Platform is MCS-7835H-2.4-EVV1. Nothing in either the event logs or CCM trace logs - it looks just like a controlled shutdown
