Hi,

I'm thinking of upgrading my RME version 3.4 to 3.5 as I just got the latest copy of RME 3.5. What are the steps I need to take in order to make sure that I can successfully perform the upgrade process ?

regards,

Joseph

Hi,

I'm afraid you need to upgrade to Common Services 2.2 first.

There is a upgrade kit available from Cisco (product number CWLMS-MAY03-MR-K9

) with a price about 500 USD.

You'll receive CDs with upgrade sw and guides for Common services, RME, CM, DFM, RTM.

This upgrade is NOT downloadable from CCO.

Regards,

Milan

I just performed this upgrade. Upgrade Common Services First. Note that it will ask you several times for passwords. Leave them blank if you wish to keep your old ones. Also ensure that you are logged in as Local Machine Admin if you run Windoze. Give your self 45 minutes or so for the install. It is very slow. After the CS upgrade then RME then RME IDU. Enjoy... It is much nicer. LMS 2.2 gets rid of the JRE need.
