I am reading some Cisco documents about MGCP.This is what I got from one of the document"POTS dial peer configuration is still required." But I actully didn't see this command in one of its TGW(trunking GW)configuration example.

They must have omitted it, because it is required to associate mgcpapp with the physical port.
dial-peer voice 10 pots
application mgcpapp
port X/X/X
