Will a 4507R work in CallManager as a MGCP device or only H.323?

I do not see it in the listing of gateways drop down box, so I assume that it can only be used as a H.323 device?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you confirm what version of callmanager you have and also what cards are actually installed in the 4507R for voice.

Yes it has the WS-X4515 Supervisor Engine IV and WS-x4604-GWY Blade in Slot 6.

If I choose the 4000 Gateway Access Module then I only get 4 slots to choose.

Thanks for any assistance that you can provide.

The 4507R itself cannot connect to anything. It require blades for anything. And the blade that allows it to function as a voice gateway is the 4000 Access Gateway Module, which must, I beleive, be configured as a MGCP device.
