What is the best way to insure voice packets get through switches?

I need to pass voice IP packets, along with data, through a 5505 with RSM, and a 4003 switch with SUP I. In our routers I am using LLQ matching on DSCP bits to ensure QOS for the voice packets, but am confused how to do the same in layer two switches.

Can the switches work on the DSCP bits also and act accordingly?

What is the best way to QOS these voice packets through layer 2 switches?

The 5505 has these cards:

WS-X5201 100BaseFX Ethernet

WS-X5225R 10/100BaseTX Ethernet

WS-F5541 RSM with IOS 12.0(0W5(17a)

WS-X5550 SupIIIG with OS = 5.5(9)

The 4003 has these cards:

WS-X4012 with OS = 6.4(6)

WS-X4148-RJ 10/100BaseTX Ethernet

Also I found out the Voice IP packets will be passing through a 3550 switch which has OS = 12.1(13)EA1a.

Thanks for your help with this.
