Turning 2 stand-alone ACS servers into HA solution using replication

Hi,

I have just inherited 2 stand-alone ACS servers, each providing AAA for a region. I want to use replication to provide a HA solution. As I understand it, if I start replication the users, groups & NASes defined on the secondary box will get overwritten by the data from the primary.

Is this correct, and is there any easy way to get the user data off the secondary and onto the primary?

I have looked at the csutils dump output, with a view to using it as the source for an import, but the export encrypts the users' passwords, whereas the file format examples for the import suggest these should be un-encrypted. I don't want to have to make all my users change their passwords. Well, not yet anyway.

Any ideas?

No this is not possible with replication, replication will overwrite the data base (for the desired replication component) on the secondary server.

You may have no option but to do it with csutil, but you may want to read up on the encrypted password problem you mention as I havnt tried it.
