2950 models comparision

Can anybody explain me the difference between WS-C2950G-12-EI & WS-C2950-12.?

Also what does Enhance Image & Standard Image means.

I am looking for a 2950 basic switch to configure & manage with Ciscoview.

Any help in selecting the model is appreciated

Someone else may know of a better link that compares SI vs. EI in the 2950's, but the first two links on this page may help: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps628/products_data_sheets_list.html

If all you need is basic switching then the SI will probably suffice. The EI, as the name indicates, just has some enhanced features.

The latter has 2 GBIC ports
