You can use the "clear line" command if it is a telnet session that you are trying to reset. For other type of TCP sessions you can do a "show tcp brief" to list the active TCP sessions and the associated TCBs and then do a "clear tcp tcb "

Hope this help.

I don't know if you can RESET session that is passing through the router, but i know you can block it using the access lists.

If the router is doing NAT/PAT, clearing NAT translations will void all TCP sessions.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can enable ip route-cache flow on the interface to check the TCP sessions passing thru the router.Issue " show ip cache flow | i 06" where 06 is Protocol number for TCP in an IP datagram.Make sure you enable it during non-peak hours.
