Warning from SQL ServerAgent in the ApplicationLog

Hi, I get the following Warning in the ApplicationLog of my Subscriber running 3.2.2c SP H

SQL Server Scheduled Job 'Optimizations for CIPT' (0xAE1A027FED9E3749AE6AC4939FFE6BDB)

Status: Failed -

Invoked on: 11/3/2003 1:00:00 AM -

Message: The job failed.

The Job was invoked by Schedule 3 (Schedule 1).

The last step to run was step 1 (Optimize CDR db).


Is this a bug? What can I do against this message?

There is a bug filed against this error you are seeing. The bug ID is CSCdx55306. This issue is cosmetic if you are seeing it on the subscriber because this job runs to optimize the CDR database. However, there is no CDR database on the subscriber; this is why you are seeing the error.


If you are seeing this error on the sub, you can remove the job (becuase only the pub cares about

CDR database) so you no longer see the error in the event viewer. To do this, follow the steps

below:


From SQL Enterprise Manager go to Microsoft SQL Servers > SQL Server Group > Server > Management >

SQL Server Agent > Jobs. From here, you can delete Optimizations for CIPT.
