When you have the same VLAN at 2 different sites. (The 2 sites have the SAME IP-subnet)

Is it possible to encrypt traffic using IPSEC between the 2 sites ?

Basically when you are linking two different sites using routers I would advise to use different subnets at both locations to simplify the routing tables.
