NTP/SNTP setup advice

I have a series of networks that consist of several 1720s connected to a 2650. The 2650 receives it's time from an NTP server. The 1720s do not have access to this server. Therefore, I'm looking for the best way to implement SNTP for the 1720s.

I'm trying to make sure that the implementation is the least chatty and uses the least amount of bandwidth. It looks like there is a couple of different ways that will work. What is the best for conserving bandwidth? Also, I want to make sure that the time is only served out to the 1720s.

Thanks

I thought that if you point the 1720's at the 2650 as the time source then that will work. NTP uses very little bandwidth so that shouldn't be an issue unless they have to dial up every time.
