Hello...
I'm using Cisco3600 w/channelized E1 interface.
The problem is that Line protocol of E1 interface(concerned with channel-group) is up and down again and again when remote router is shutdown.
Is that right?
I think that Line protocol is down when remote router is shutdown.
Is there anyone who has this experience.
I'd like to get your advice.
Thanks.

Sometimes it may be due to jumper settings. check the below link

Hello,
I guess you are using balanced CH-E1 module.
If it is that, then your channelized E1 is having problem. Line protocol ( for the perticular channel ) must be down when remote modem or router is OFF, concidering that MUX is G3/G4
If line protocol is flapping then there is fault in channel wiring ( Tx and Rx ) for multiplexer in service provider/exchange. OR may be MUX channel card defective if the problem is limited to perticular channel or group of channel.
If you can provide some more information about your problem it will be easy to solve the problem, because then there are some other posibilites also.
