hello forum.
we have a severe problem here :
using nt4, we need to open up the vpn-tunnel before the nt-logon happens. we configured correctly, and the client starts at ctrl-alt-del.
but now we need to pass the user credentials to the third-party isp (isdn/dsl).
the problem : we cannot store any passwords in some kind of default-dial-up-networking-profile. these passwords seem to be stored in user-profiles only ! this means : the vpn-client simply cannot start the connection by using the dun-profile.
when we use a third-party dial-up application ( eg. rasdial.exe ), there is no way to terminate the connection, because there is no "use this command to disconnect" entry. unfortunately we need to terminate the dun-connection, when vpn-tunnel negotiation failes...
any suggestions ???
