Solved: Send a Message - search by extension, not name. v4.0(2)

We have a customer that wants a number of subscribers to change the "send a message" option to search by extension, not name.

Is this possible? Either system wide or on a per-subscriber basis. (approx 1/3 want this change)

I know you can press "##" while in the menu, but this is not acceptable for them.

yes, you can change this on a per user basis in the SA on the Conversation page for subscribers. you can also use the Bulk Edit utility to change this for large numbers of users in one crack - you'll find this tool in the Tools Depot on the desktop (assuming you're running 3.1(3) or later) - or you can get the latest from www.CiscoUnityTools.com.
