Having discovered I can buy an 802.11g upgrade kit for the cisco aironet 1100 series access point, can I do likewise for the AIR-PCM352 cards (currently 802.11b) I use or would I need to buy new cards to take advantage of this upgrade.

The Cisco Aironet 1100 and 1200 Series Access Points were designed to be field upgradable. To upgrade clients though, new PC Cards supporting 802.11a/b/g must be purchased. It has been announced that these new Cisco Aironet PC Cards will be available Q1CY04.

I presume that if I went for the upgrade kit for the AP's that my exsiting aironet cards would still connect to the 802.11g AP's although not connecting at the new 54 mbps standard.
Thanks in advance
