2504 Roter with Token Ring

hello,

I have 2 2504 routers with token ring interfaces.

What is the lowest end switch, that can be used for these routers?

With that token ring switch, am I able to connect it with a regular 100mb switch? So that way I have an active IP Port active on the router, apart from the serial interfaces.

Hello Juan,

the ´lowest´ end switch is a Catalyst 3900. The Catalyst 3900 comes with 20 fixed ports and a unique FlexSlot that can accommodate two expansion modules or one double-wide module. Available expansion modules include a 1-port ATM OC-3c uplink, a 2-port fiber and copper Inter-Switch Link (ISL) uplink for Token Ring transport over Fast Ethernet. That means you can build an ISL trunk between the 3920 and another FastEthernet switch.
