I have a supervisor II with 2x 100Mb Sc MMF (32mb)

Is it possible to use such a software version that caters for SSH version 1 (or 2).

I have just upgraded to 4.5.2.

I have read you require at least version 6.1 (K9)

I have found the following link:

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/SWSearch/SWSearch_results.cgi/SWSearch.txt?isChild=true&dir_delimiter=contains&dir_pattern=5000&file_delimiter=contains&file_pattern=&list_format=html

Which includes an SSH capable image for sup2 5000, however when i try to copy from my TFTP server the file is not recognised.

My TFTP server is ok, i have just used the same process to upgrade as i said above.

Do i need to upgrade something else or go in stages?

Please help.

Kindest Regards...

According to the release notes the catalyst 5000 supervisor II is not supported in 6.x , only the supervisor II G, supervisor III and supervisor III G.

Check out the catalyst 5000 6.x release note section titled "Release 6.x Supervisor Engine Support Matrix"
