After the configuration of site to site vpn between cisco pix firewall and linksys router when i did a debug crypto ipsec .I am getting the following error message
IPSEC(ipsec_cipher_handler): ERR: bad pkt 192.168.250.103->192.168.1.255
Can any one help me in letting me know what this error message means? Also it will be of great help if there any page in the cisco web site which lets you know the meaning of the debug error messages on the cisco routers and firewalls.
Thanks in Advance

This could be many things. Does the tunnel ever completely establish? If not, just double check your phase II settings and make sure they match. If PFS is on, try turning it off.
FYI, there are really no good resources available for looking up the real meaning of these messages. I think Cisco is working on this though, especially for the VPN3K boxes.

Thanks a lot. The vpn was working fine till the other day. We are now checking on the other side whether there was issue from the other end.
