I've never configured crypto maps before so please forgive my ignorance...

I have a 3662 running ios 12.3(1a) at our main office and 3725's at our state offices.

on the 3662 I have a crypto map used for client vpn for people working from home.

This map is applied to the loopback and the serial interface.

We have vpn tunnels to all of our state offices.

I would like to apply crypto maps to the state office vpn tunnels.

Is it possible to have the client map applied to the loopback and the state office maps applied to the vpn tunnels?

would I leave the serial interface with no maps applied to it?

Or can I apply both maps to the serial interface.

Again, I appologize if this question seems a bit ignorant..
