OSPF MD5 over NBMA

R1 (s0.1 multipoint)--FR NBMA---- s0 R3

area 0 aut me


R2 and R3 with same configuration.


and they don't work.


R1,R2,R3 can ping each other, but can not form the adjacency.


what is wrong?

can you post the output of the command debug ip ospf adj ?

Check the interface parameters with the show ip ospf interface command and make sure they match. Can you also post the full configuration of all three routers ?

I guess maybe I got it.


between R1 and R2, there is a ISDN link. I shutdown it. now it is ok.


but I am still confused why after ISDN down, the authetication became fine?
