I have read that to support MOH across the WAN between two sites I need to
1) Check multicasting under MOH server
2) Enable multicast on the router.
Could someone provide a rough config to enable multicasting on the router to support MOH.
Have I also miss anything?
Cheers

As a general rule you should use PIM sparse mode with the RP configured for the router closest to the MOH source.
Here is a very good doc, with examples, that may be helpful.

I have enabled multicasting on the router with auto rp discovery but I am still not able to get streaming of G729 MOH across the WAN. All I get is silent tone. I have enabled multicasting on media resource group, MOH server and audio source but still no luck. Is there a way to test the MOH is streaming g729.

Pleaes make sure that you have the G.729 codec selected in the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming App service parameters. Look for the "Supported MoH Codecs"
Also, just for your reference here is another doc for setting up MMoH with an IOS GW.
