I am working with a new customer. He stated that Cisco recommened a 7960 phone have 1 ICD line and nothing else (this was about 12 months ago) He had a specific problem but didn't have a bugID or documentation.
I have had several agents with non-ICD lines on their phones and no issues.
Any idea if CRS 3.x had problems when non-ICD lines were setup on user's phones?

I am complete unaware of this issue. I have many IPCCX customers up on CM 3.2 * 3.3 with CRS 3.x that have 7960's and other lines. What you may be referring to is that you should not have Call Waiting set on an IPCCX line.

If you are using the Cisco Outbound Option you MUST set call waiting on the "IPCC" line. Can you explain why you are warning about setting call waiting?
