Cisco 575 LRE CPEs back-to-back ?

Cisco documentations says you can only connect the 500 series LRE CPEs to a Catalyst 2900 LRE switch.

Is there any way we can connect two 575 LREs together to provide extended LAN connection, saving some money on having to replace our current switch with a LRE switch?

Not that I am aware of. You need the 2900 series switch as it is where you set up the LRE policies/profiles for the 575 CPE devices. When the CPE devices are connected to the switch, they download the profile from it.
