Using WDS for Rogue AP detection

Hi,

We are using Cisco 1200 series IOS based access points. On the client side we have a mix of Cisco,Intel,etc wireless cards. PEAP is being used for authentication and TKIP as encryption.

In this scenario

1. Can we use WDS for rogue AP detection ?

2. Can WDS be used for some other advantage under this scenario ?

Yes, sure you can use WDS. Detecting rogue AP is one of functions of WDS. WDS consists of only IOS APs, no clients are involved.

Trivial question: How do you setup a 1200 to use WDS for rogue AP detection? I have WDS enabled, but it's not reporting any of the AP's I have running.
