Since upgrading to Windows XP when I telnet to a Cisco Router/Switch and use the Up arrow key to repeat the last command the command is displayed but a '^@' is put on the end of the line. I think this is linefeed or something so I cannot change the text. Does anyone know how to fix this very annoying prob. Thanks..

I suggest using the program putty, it's better than telnet on windows.

I strongly second that sentiment.
Don't use the built in telnet client or HyperTerminal. Get a proper telnet/ssh client.
