Why would I continue to receive these messages in syslog. The explanation states the the active and primary are not in sync and to write standby. I did that and still receive these.

If you are using an old version of PIXOS, you could be running into bug CSCdt05025 "LU look NAT failed -> NAT is disabled" and you will have to upgrade you OS. However, if you are using a recent version of the PIX OS, the bug is not relevant. You could try reseating the failover cable.
