Sounds like your not getting packets through to the router. If you `debug crypto isakmp' on the router do you get any output when your attempting to connect via the VPN client?


XP is the firewall enabled, if so it may be causing this problem.

I ran Etherpeak, a sniffer trace shows no packets are leaving my computer when I get this message. It returns so fast I believe it is a local problem. Using XP SP1, all updates.


Firewall Connection Service is disabled. There are no personal firewall products installed. I do have a private IP, using a Linksys AP/Router which has IPSec Forwarding enabled.


How do we debug the client application?
