The MTU size on the interfaces are set to 4470 and I'm trying to make my network generate BGP update messages of size 4470 and successful in doing that but I don't want BGP marker to seperate the NLRI list into chunks of 252 bytes even though all the attributes are same for the whole NLRI list. They are chunks of 995 bytes if the NLRI list is filled with "Withdrawn routes".I want one update messages with one BGP marker in the begining & no additional markers in the middle seperating the subnet list even though they have same attributes.

All my routers are 7206 running 12.2T (10).

Is there a way to generate update messages like the way I wanted ?

thanks in advance,

This behavior has been implemented in 12.0(26)S.

Hope this helps,
