i need to deploy a new station for voice over ip with a PTT that have SS7 signaling

please i need to know what is require hardware and software for this deployment

What you need is a hardware that supports Solaris OS 2.8 possibly Sun but it is not necessary. Softswitch application software is installed on the OS which will convert the SS7 Signaling to standard voip protocols ( SIP,H.323,MGCP,ISDN/IP,Megaco).

Min Hardware specs for 50,000 ports:

4GB RAM

4 CPU

2 18GB Hard drives.
