Script Execution: emailalert.pl VMS2.2

Hello together,

maybe you can help me!

Installation VMS 2.2, VMS 2.2 Update 1, MC_IDS 1.2.3,

all IDS_xxxx processes are running.

I want to get an E-Mail if signatures are matching the severity level high, using the Perl script "emailalert.pl"!

The events are coming only from one IDS-Sensor 4235.

I can execute the script manually using the command line. But during normal work it seems that the script won't be activated because no temporary file "idsalert.txt" is created.

Also i tried the actual patches, don't help!

Any Ideas!

Hi,

i have uninstalled the MC IDS 123 and reinstalled, imported the sensor. Then it works!

I know that it is not a good solution, but i had no better idea.
