In a corner office, we have a 7902 that hits APs from various buildings, thus various vlans. We do not yet have the blade that allows us to hop vlans. Is there a way to home the 7902 to a preferred AP?

I'm assuming that you are talking about a 7920 wireless phone. If so, see the section on the page below called Wireless Settings Options in the 802.11b Configuration Menu. You can set the phone to look for the AP with a particular SSID.
