Hi,
I understand that for 3550, if I want to stack the switches together, I can use Gigstack (WS-3500) or Fibre (WS-5484G). But if I want to stack 5 x 3750 switches together, do I need to buy any GBICs?
Thanks heaps for you guys help in advance,
Hunt

you need not buy anything for stacking, by default, cisco 3750 switches has got stacking port back side of the device & it will along with a stacking cable, so you can stack 5 cisco 3750 switches. maximum stacking capability is 32Gbps.

Hunt,
Notice that if you put cable management units (single or double) between each switches, the first switch and last switch inthe stack might be too far away. Each cisco 3750 switch comes with a 50 cm stack cable. If you think that the distance between the stack connectors of the first and last switch in the stack is more than 50 cm, you will need to buy a 1 m stack cable for extra $$$. Keep that in mind.
