Command that works on a 3560-24 but not on a 3524

I can issues a switchport mode dynamic des on a 3560-24, is there a way I can issuse a command that does the same thing on a 3524.

Hi Fella,


3524 does not have that feature available. Actually 3500xl is a old layer 2 switch and 3560 is a new era layer 3 switch which has many other advance features,


But still you can configure manually the ports as trunk port or access port on your 3524 switch.

I see.... The problem is that my client starts patching stuff and creates a look with the interface configured with portfast. I thought maybe there was another command that works on the 3524. Thanks for your input.
