Unanswered Question

I want to link 2 switches that will do both LACP and PAGP. Is there any significant difference between them? Which should I use?

I have this problem too.

hi

AFAIK PAGP is a cisco propietory and its supported only in cisco switches and the other vendors who have the license to support the same in their switches.

And its the other way around for LACP which is defined in IEEE 802.3ad .

to have more info about the modes and other functionality difference do refer this link ..
