I have the task to upgrade our wireless system from 350 series AP to 1000 series AP. Also I will being using EAP-FAST for security.

When configuring the EAP-FAST should I use 802.1X or WPA/WPA2/CCKWM? Which is more secure in an enterprise enviroment?

There are two parts to wireless security.. Authentication and Encryption of data. You can use EAP-FAST/LEAP/PEAP for authenticating users to the AP and then once authenticated, the data flow between AP and user can be encrypted by either WEP or WPA or WPA2. WPA2 uses AES encryption and considered to be the most secured encryption mechanism. I hope this helps..
