pix 525 failover

hello,

I've a pair of pix 525 active/standby, running pix os 6.3(4). When I'm issuing the command write standby both pixs doing a rest. any idea why this happening ??

just wondering under what sort of circumstances you were using the command "wri standby".

"wri standby" should be used if the primary and secondary units’ configurations have

different information.

normally, the failover unit will auto obtain the config when the primary unit boots up or "wri mem" on the primary unit.
