Adding physical interfaces - any effect on config ?

I want to replace the VAC+ card in my PIX 525 with a 4FE-66 card. Will this have any adverse effect on my PIX when I boot it up after the swap ? The VAC+ card is in the bottom PCI slot. That is where I plan to install the 4FE-66 card. Running PIXOS 6.3

no, you should be fine. Keep in mind the following:

1. If you are doing any type of ipsec tunneling removing the VAC+ will impact the performance of your pix

2. If you are using a failover unit make sure both primary and secondary units have the same hardware otherwise failover will not work.
