Debug messages on ASA 7.0.2.5

Hi,

Under ASA 7.0.2.5, even when the debug commands are enabled there is no output, is this a bug or is there anything else that needs to be enabled to get the debug outputs.

CoreFW(config)# debug crypto isakmp 255 CoreFW(config)# debug crypto ipsec 255 CoreFW(config)# term mon

CoreFW(config)# sh debug

debug crypto ipsec enabled at level 255 debug crypto isakmp enabled at level 255 CoreFW(config)#

I am new to ASA, but you can try the logging fuction. Try;

(config)#logging console 7

(config)#logging on

(config)#show logging

The problem was resolved be giving the commands

logging monitor critical

wr mem
