CME MoH Source

I have read that you can use the E&M VIC Card to source Moh from a live feed, such as a radio broadcast.

Has anyone done this before, what is the setup and physical connectivity like from the e&M Card to the radio.

Thanks

Hi

See this part of the manual;

Harrison,

I have read this up in the manual. Have you done this yourself? what was the source of your moh stream file?

How did you connect it up, besides the E&m card, did you use any other device?

If someone out there has set this up before, please tell me how it was done. Thanks

Hi aaron,

Thank you again for your suggestion on Moh from a live feed.

Do you have any other bright ideas on how to setup paging in CME, so that you can page from the speakers on the IP Phones as well as external speakers in the building?

Cheers

I have set up MOH using a live feed. We were using a promotion on hold box but any audio source with a head set jack works. Your just hoodk it up to the pins on the e&m card specified in the manual. Also I have configured paging through the phones. I have not done external paging but it should not be a problem.

Hi

Paging to phones is a standard feature:

I suppose you could set up external paging using an IP phone hooked up to speakers as referenced here:

I haven't tried this though...
