Does anyone know, how to pass the parameters $D and $M to a script in an automated syslog action? In RME3.5 I made a perl script dealing with theses parameters, now just bat files are allowed. When I'm adding $D $M behind the path of my script, a dialog tells me, that the file could not be found. Any ideas?

Looks like bug id CSCsa95946:
RME 4.0 Syslog Analyzer Automated Action for Email does not allow $D $M
This is fixed in RME 4.0.2, which is available from download from Cisco.com

We are running RME 4.0.2. Besides I want to execute a script, not send an email. Perhaps any other suggestions? Or are $D and $M automatically added as parameters?

Okay, my, problem is resolved. Having a look into the AnalyzerDebug.log, I see that both parameters (device and message) are automated passed to the bat file.
