Hi

Could someone advise me what is the standard DIFFSER/TOS marking of RTCP packets.

How does Cisco IP Phones mark these packets (Diffserv EF or AF31)?

I have tried in vain to find this from various sources including the Cisco web site without success.

Hope you can help.

Best regards,

Phil

Hi

AFAIK the signalling messages are marked with DSCP 26 or Per-Hop Behavior (PHB) AF31, and RTP packets are marked with DSCP 46 (PHB EF)..

if u want to make it sure i would suggest to give a search with the kinda voip phone model ur using over there.

do find this link for more info..
