I am trying to find a way to have 2 different public ip's go to the same interface on a pix. BGP is not an option. The networks are from two completely seperate providers. I am just curious to know if i could do what is in the example below.

2801:

ip nat inside source static 10.10.10.1 2.2.3.1 extendable

ip nat inside source static 10.10.10.1 1.1.2.1 extendable

int fa0/1

description ***** Connection to pix 501 *****

ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.252

PIX 501:

description ***** Connection to 2801 fa0/1 *****

ip address outside 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.252

Hi

Can u revert whether you are connecting to 2 ISPs for reduandcy kidna purpose of load balancing ??

regds

I am looking for a reduandancy solution. Inbound load-balancing isnt so important, just want a way to reach the pix using either t1 for access incase one of the T1 goes down. Maybe setup a round-robin dns for both ip addresses and setup the vpn client with a hostname instead of an ip address.

Looking for any solution that doesnt require BGP or more hardware.
