It's failing POST in the loopback test in 2950. Any ideas on how to fix?

hello everybody

I want to active the interfaces on the 2950 but i face to these errors:

conf t

Switch(config)#int ra

Switch(config)#int range fa

Switch(config)#int range fastEthernet 0/1 - 24

Switch(config-if-range)#no shut

Switch(config-if-range)#

could you tell me why these errors appear, so when i want to set ip in loop back interface ,this error appears:

Switch(config)#int lo

Switch(config)#int loopback ?

<0-2147483647> Loopback interface number

Switch(config)#int loopback 21

Hi Ladan,

Its a hardware failure and you have to get the part replaced.

POST is a power on self test and even when you reboot the box it will check the POST (hardware check) so currently its failing the hardware test.

Get it replaced.
