VoIP over satellite link across GRE Tunnel

Hi,

Have a setup where we have a 128k satellite link, we have a GRE tunnel to link to the main site, this is used for voip to call manager and data.

I have setup CBWFQ to give rtp traffic priority 48k, and signalling 8k, the voip works fine with this however as soon as we try pull some data across, access web, file server etc, the quality becomes very bad.

I suspect that I need to configure LFI to chop the packets up, I cannot find any solid guides on how to do this, if it supported.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi

Do find the link which speaks inline with configuring LFI...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1835/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800b75d2.html

my gut feeling here is the end to end delay in the Satellite link which is causing bad quality..

What kinda satellite link is this ? is this somthing similar to point to point (PAMA) or the other variant ??
