EXCHANGE SERVER MIGRATION ISSUE

Answered Question

Unity 4.0(4) SR1

Exchange 2000 OFF Box

Users were migrated from an older, less stable exchange server, to a new one through the usual AD \ Exchange method of moving users from one server to another.

The older server is still up and active.

When it goes down, UNITY can not deliver messages to the subscribers.

DO i have to re-run the exchagne setup wizard on Unity to set the new server as the primary? If not, any ideas of why the old server has to be up? What is the work-around \ fix?

Also, this newer server is going to be upgraded to EX2K3 in the coming months. What needs to be done to unity to perform this upgrade (i'm just looking for a link to the PDF here)

Thanks

matt
